Overview
A robust brand guidelines platform for Verizon, serving as the source of truth for hundreds of designers and developers
Verizon had long utilized static PDFs to store their Brand Guidelines. Due to their static nature, these guideline documents were outdated almost the moment they were distributed. We set out to improve brand compliance and consistency across Verizon and its many agency partners by creating a web-based platform to replace the old PDF-based system.
I constructed an extensive library of React components, which were utilized to display a variety of content types authored in a Contentful CMS Space. While we initially launched with dozens of guideline pages, the platform quickly expanded to include several hundred over the course of 6 years. This platform is a key piece of Verizon's complex brand compliance puzzle and has helped to improve compliance scores by over 30%.
